Our truest life is when we are in our dreams awake. - Henry D. Thoreau

spiraling foliage

"I'll be there tomorrow" you said to me with haste
Not understanding that today has already gone to waste
Without me you'd be here right now had I accompanied your space
With me you'd forget what kind of ruler measured grace

Begin right now and find yesterday, for you ran away too quick
The bitter taste will leave your mind with a freshened hearty lick
Start your brand new life built fashioning yesterday's dried bricks
And don't mind the business man when he empties your soul by ticks
