Muted Fallacy
Portability is the key here
when dealing with matters of the pockets
loose change and blue teeth shatter
a world once thinking of
Now we're on the path to memory
elicited by strange deviations
from what was apparent by Nature
for which we have no foreseen rectification
Walking cramped in the streets
with not a soul nearby
can you figure out the compass
and read it like an ancient book
Promises are vagrant to a purely speculative abomination of a society
where unmarked wishes bid for reckoning our tired bones
how have we escaped the tides of this motherly womb
and not seen the last to fall because we're in it for the rest
Open up your wrinkled ears
deafened by the bondsman's call
and free your anxious temple
from the calamity we must endure, forevermore

I'm not very good with poetry, but I've always wished I could write it. It's just so pretty when people find that perfect rhythm.
Do you write poetry in your free time? It's nice to find someone else in class who writes for fun and not just for school. Look forward to getting to know you through your blog this semester! : )
